MEET JUDGE DINKELACKER

Judge Dinkelacker was appointed to the Court of Common Pleas bench in March, 2025. Prior to becoming a Judge, Judge Dinkelacker was an Assistant Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney for almost 13 years. Judge Dinkelacker served in the Juvenile, Municipal and Felony divisions and was the Assistant Chief of the Juvenile Division for about two years. She has tried many jury and bench trials, including Murder, Rape, Felonious Assault, Robbery, Domestic Violence and OVI. During law school, Judge Dinkelacker had the opportunity to work as a Constable for a Judge and handled the Civil docket. Judge Dinkelacker also was recently appointed to serve on the Commission for Professionalism by the Ohio Supreme Court. 

 

She  was born and raised on the West Side of Cincinnati. She attended Mother of Mercy High School, Miami University and Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She currently resides in Green Township with her husband and three children.

Leah Dinkelacker was appointed to the bench by Gov. Mike DeWine and will take office on March 24. She will replace Justice Megan E. Shanahan, who was recently elected to the Ohio Supreme Court.
